LAS VEGAS CONVENTION GUIDE

Getting Around Las Vegas Convention Center: Monorail, Loop, Bus and Rideshare

Compare the Las Vegas Monorail, Convention Center Loop, RTC transit, rideshare, taxis and walking routes for your convention visit.

Independent visitor guide: Information is checked against official sources, but schedules, fares, entrances and registration policies can change. Confirm critical details before travel.

Choose transportation based on your hall

The Las Vegas Convention Center campus is extensive. Check the specific hall and entrance printed on your event instructions before choosing a drop-off location. A convenient stop for one hall may require a lengthy walk to another.

Las Vegas Monorail

The Boingo Station at Las Vegas Convention Center is at 3150 Paradise Road and serves the North, Central and South hall side of the campus. The monorail runs along the east side of the Strip; it does not serve Harry Reid International Airport. Check current service hours and fares before traveling.

Vegas Loop inside the Convention Center

The LVCC Loop connects five campus stations and trips entirely within the Convention Center campus are free. Travel beyond the campus requires a valid ticket. Verify station availability and any event-specific operational changes before relying on a particular stop.

RTC bus and airport connections

RTC Route 108 runs along Paradise Road and serves Harry Reid Airport Terminal 1. It can be economical for light travelers, but confirm the closest stop, travel direction, service hours and transfer requirements. Public bus travel may not be the easiest choice with exhibition equipment or large luggage.

Las Vegas Monorail: stations, hours, fares and sightseeing

The Monorail operates on the east side of the Strip with seven stops: SAHARA Las Vegas, Westgate, Las Vegas Convention Center, Harrah’s/The LINQ, Flamingo/Caesars Palace, Horseshoe/Paris and MGM Grand. Trains typically arrive every 4–8 minutes. The route does not serve Harry Reid International Airport, downtown Fremont Street or the Bellagio entrance directly.

For convention attendees: The Boingo Las Vegas Convention Center station is convenient for the campus. For the High Roller, ride to Harrah’s/The LINQ and walk through the promenade. For the Bellagio fountains, ride to Flamingo/Caesars Palace or Horseshoe/Paris and allow time to cross the Strip on foot. The STRAT, Fremont Street and the Welcome sign require additional transportation.

Published regular train hours are Monday 7 a.m.–midnight, Tuesday–Thursday 7 a.m.–2 a.m., and Friday–Sunday 7 a.m.–3 a.m. Fares vary by purchase channel and pass duration. As checked October 2026, the operator lists online one-ride tickets at $5.75 and online one-day passes at $13.95; always verify before purchase.

Rideshare, taxi and walking

Rideshare and taxi services can be practical for groups or luggage, but pickup zones and congestion change during large shows. Walking can work for nearby hotels; check actual pedestrian routes, crossing points, heat and mobility needs rather than judging distance from a map alone.
